This is a plain-language summary of a commercial and resell rights license, written as a marketing-friendly reference (and as Bonus #4 referenced elsewhere on this site). It is a template, not a substitute for a lawyer-drafted license agreement — have it reviewed and formalized by a qualified attorney before relying on it as a binding legal document.
What Kind Of License This Is
Your purchase of LocalSite Builder includes two layers of rights:
- Personal/Commercial Use License — the right to use the Software to build and export websites for yourself or paying clients.
- Resell Rights License — the right to resell the Software itself to other buyers, under the terms below.
This is a standard Resell Rights (RR) license — not Master Resell Rights (MRR) and not Private Label Rights (PLR). That distinction matters for what your own customers are allowed to do, explained further down.
You CAN:
- Install and use the Software to build and export websites for your own business.
- Charge clients to build and deliver websites for them using the Software.
- Sell the Software itself as a standalone product, under your own brand and at a price you set.
- Keep 100% of every resale — no royalty or revenue share is owed back to us.
- Use your own sales page and marketing, or adapt the swipe copy provided in your Resell Launch Kit bonus.
- Distribute the Software through your own website, email list, or a marketplace that permits resold software, subject to that marketplace's own rules.
You CANNOT:
- Claim to be the original developer, author, or copyright holder of the Software.
- Modify, rebrand, or represent the underlying source code as your own creation ("Private Label Rights" are not included).
- Grant your own customers resell rights to the Software (this would be Master Resell Rights, which is not included) — your customers receive a personal/commercial use license only, unless you have separately obtained MRR rights from us.
- Sell the Software at $0 / as a free giveaway without prior written permission.
- Bundle the Software into a free membership site, free "load-up," or similar free-access offer.
- Use deceptive or unrealistic income claims when marketing the Software, whether reselling it or offering website-building services built with it.
- Sublicense, transfer, or resell the underlying source code itself.
What Your Own Customers Get
When you resell LocalSite Builder to your own customer, that customer receives a personal/commercial use license identical in spirit to the one described above — they can use the Software to build and sell client websites, but they do not automatically receive the right to resell the Software again unless you have Master Resell Rights to pass on (which is not part of the standard package described here).
Support & Updates
Technical support for the Software itself is provided by us to direct purchasers. If you resell the Software, please direct your customers' technical questions to our support team via the Contact Support page, or establish your own support process — whichever you prefer to offer your customers.
Termination
This license, including any resell rights, may be revoked for a specific licensee found to be in material breach of the restrictions listed above (for example, claiming authorship of the Software, or granting rights you don't hold).
